| 2009 and as fresh a daisy! |
Throwback to 2009 when all-nighters were a thing. That picture was actually taken when I was doing my term abroad in Providence University (hence the really interesting backdrop). Back then, going all night felt like a pre-requisite to passing. It didn't feel right if you just snoozed off a night before an exam. I don't know if it's just me or my roommates but we'd always find each other in our corners at 3am, groggy and in pajamas but determined to reflect on some Heidegger or to try to understand the the two-step reaction that happens in between ammonia and halogenoalkanes.

Fast forward to today. My mom asked me to help her out with some stuff she needs for work and I also had to do some stuff for my work, as well. Stormed out of the house to get a late-night coffee fix and boom, boom, boom! There goes my Sunday night. Not that I hate it, it's the other way around. I feel that I'm most productive in evenings when I could focus on the task at hand. Throughout the day, it's like your shield is always up - a ready defense for whatever the day throws at you. In the evening, you can just let your hair down and think. Reflect. Focus.
Anyway, it's already 4:20am and geez, I'll be leaving by 5am! Time to grab some zzz's. I guess! Well, goodbye for now. Let's go!
